The jobs go to
whoever quotes first.
Make that you.

Most trade businesses do not lose work on price. They lose it on the four days between the call and the quote. We build the website that brings the enquiry in, then wire it into your job software so the quote goes out the same day and nobody retypes a customer three times.

The Real Problem

The job was lost on Tuesday. You found out on Friday.

A homeowner rings three trades on Monday. One quotes Tuesday morning from the ute. One quotes Friday. One never gets back to them. The Tuesday quote wins, and it is almost never the cheapest. Speed reads as competence, and slowness reads as "they do not want the work".

Nobody is slow on purpose. You are slow because the quote lives at the bottom of a pile that only gets touched after dinner, and because the enquiry came through a form that emails an address you check twice a day.

  • The Sunday night session. Quotes, invoices and the schedule all get done in the one block, after a full week on the tools, which is exactly when you have the least attention for them.
  • The same customer, typed three times. Once into the enquiry email, once into the job software, once into Xero. Every retype is a chance to get a number wrong.
  • The website nobody found. It looks fine. It ranks for your business name and nothing else, so the only people who see it already knew you existed.
  • The lead that went cold in the inbox. No auto-reply, no SMS, no follow-up. By the time you see it, they have booked someone else.
  • The van that is fully booked while the good jobs go elsewhere. Without a way to filter enquiries, you take what comes in the order it comes.

None of that is a marketing problem. It is a plumbing problem, in the systems sense, and it is fixable in weeks rather than years.

What We Build For Trades

A site that brings work in, wired to the software that runs it.

Most agencies stop at the website. Most software resellers start at the software. The gap between them is where trade businesses lose money, so that gap is the part we build.

  • Enquiries that reach you in seconds, not hours. Form submissions hit your phone by SMS and land in your job software as a lead, with the job type, suburb and contact already filled in.
  • Same-day quoting. Templated quotes for your common jobs, pre-filled from the enquiry, so a quote is a five minute job from the ute instead of an hour at the kitchen table.
  • Automatic follow-up. Quote sent and no answer in three days? The system chases, politely, without you remembering to. That single automation recovers more jobs than any ad spend at this size.
  • One customer record, everywhere. Website to job management software to Xero, connected properly, so the details are entered once and appear everywhere.
  • Found for the jobs you want. Service and suburb pages built for what people actually search, so you rank for "emergency electrician [suburb]" rather than only for your own business name.
  • Proof that updates itself. Job photos and reviews flow onto the site as the work happens, instead of a gallery that has not changed since 2023.
  • You own all of it. Domain, hosting, code, data and the automations. In your name, portable, no hostage arrangement.

The Process

How it runs,
start to finish.

01

Audit the leak

We follow one real enquiry from the moment it arrives to the moment it gets invoiced, and count every place a human retypes something or a job waits. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

  • Enquiry to invoice mapped
  • Current site and rankings checked
  • Every manual step counted
02

Fixed quote

One number, approved before anything starts. It covers the site, the integrations and the automations, with the third-party software costs listed separately so you can see exactly what is ours and what is theirs.

  • One price, no hourly billing
  • Software costs shown separately
  • Timeline you can plan around
03

Build and wire

We build the site and connect it to your job management software and accounting. If you are not on job software yet, we recommend based on your trade and size, and we will tell you when you do not need it.

  • Site built, not templated
  • Job software connected
  • Xero or MYOB wired in
04

Hand over and support

You get the logins, a walkthrough and a 30 day defect period. After that, support is either on a plan or ad hoc at an hourly rate quoted first. No lock-in either way.

  • Everything in your name
  • 30 day defect period
  • Support optional, never forced

What It Costs

A fixed number, before anything starts.

The honest variables are how many services and suburbs you need pages for, whether your photos already exist, which job software you run, and how much of the back end needs automating. Nothing else moves the price. There is no line item for account management.

Work out the cost of doing nothing first. If four hours of admin per job at your charge-out rate is the real number, and you run six jobs a week, the arithmetic usually makes the decision for you before we quote.

  • Fixed quote before we start. You approve a number and that is the number you pay.
  • Third-party costs quoted separately and honestly. Job software, hosting and SMS credits are yours and go in your name. We do not mark them up.
  • 30 day defect period. If something we built does not work as specified, we fix it at no charge.
  • No lock-in. No retainer required to keep the site running. Leave whenever, take everything with you.
  • We will talk you out of it. If your enquiry volume does not justify the automation yet, we will say so and quote you the smaller job instead.

Proof

TWJ Trades: proof that updates itself.

A trade business with real work behind it and nothing online to show for it. We built the site so that completed jobs and reviews publish themselves as the work happens, which means the proof on the site is never out of date and nobody has to remember to update it.

Frontline Trays, in the same family of work, went from paying for every visitor to being found without paying for it. Both are contactable through our portfolio, because case studies you cannot verify are worth nothing.

Where is your business leaking jobs?

Six questions about how an enquiry travels through your business. It takes about three minutes, and it tends to surface the expensive gap rather than the obvious one.

  • How long between an enquiry arriving and someone replying to it?
  • How many separate places does one customer get typed into?
  • What happens to a quote that gets no response for a week?
  • Which searches does your site rank for, other than your own name?
  • How many hours a week go on quoting, scheduling and invoicing?
  • If you stopped answering the phone for a day, what would break?

You get the findings in writing whether or not you hire us, including the fixes you can do yourself without paying anyone.

Questions

What trades ask us
before they start.

Do I need job management software before you can help?

No. If you already run ServiceM8, Tradify, simPRO, AroFlo or similar, we connect to it. If you run on a whiteboard and a notebook, we will recommend what fits your trade and size, and we will tell you honestly if you are too small to need it yet. Plenty of two-van operations get most of the benefit from a fast site, instant SMS notification and automatic quote follow-up, with no job software at all.

How much does a website and system build cost for a trade business?

It depends on how many services and suburbs need their own page, whether your job photos already exist, which software you are connecting, and how much of the back end needs automating. We quote a fixed price before starting, so the number you approve is the number you pay, and third-party costs like hosting and SMS credits are listed separately in your name rather than marked up.

Will this actually get me more work, or just look better?

Two different jobs, and we do both. Looking better does very little on its own. The work comes from ranking for the services and suburbs people actually search, replying faster than the other two trades who were called, and following up on quotes automatically. The last of those is usually the cheapest to build and recovers the most jobs.

I am flat out already. Why would I want more leads?

Then you do not need more leads, you need better ones and less admin. We would build you a site that filters out the jobs you do not want, and spend the rest of the budget on cutting the four hours of admin per job. Being busy is not the same as being profitable, and we would rather fix the second one.

Do you work with trades outside Albury Wodonga?

Yes. We are based in Albury and work with trade businesses across Australia. The build and handover run over video calls and email, which is how most of our clients prefer it anyway because it does not cost them a morning on site.

What happens if I want to leave?

You take everything. The domain, hosting, code, content and data are in your name from day one, and the automations are built on platforms you hold the account for. There is no retainer required to keep the site running and nothing technical stops you moving to another provider.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes, and we will say so if that is the cheaper answer. If the site loads fast and is structured sensibly, the money is usually better spent on the systems behind it than on a redesign. If it is a page builder stack that takes eight seconds to load on a phone, no amount of work behind it will save it.
