We rebuilt a Shepparton fabricator's website. A month after launch, it was bringing in as many enquiries as their paid ads did, with the ad spend switched off.
Frontline have built custom ute trays, canopies and trailers since 2019. Family-run, and good at it. The website couldn't keep up, and most enquiries came from ads that stopped the day the budget did.
Four pieces of work over three months: a full rebuild, an SEO overhaul, an AI-search layer, and the tools the team runs day to day.
We moved the site off WordPress onto Netlify, so it loads fast and nothing buckles under plugin weight. A custom dashboard lets the Frontline team edit pages, gallery and content themselves, no developer needed.
We audited the site first. It scored 53 out of 100, a C+. Then we cleared every critical blocker: broken canonicals, a split schema identity, missing alt text, sitemap and redirect errors. It now re-audits at 99 out of 100, an A+, and beats both local competitors on technical SEO.
Most regional trade businesses never show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI answers. We opened the site to every major AI crawler, added an llms.txt brief, and wrote the content as clear answers an assistant can quote. Ask one for a tray builder in the Goulburn Valley, and Frontline can be the name it gives.
The instant quote builder, finance applications and dealership portal were already there. We revamped them so they run cleaner, leads arrive sorted instead of as a missed call, and the team spends less time on admin and more in the workshop.
One month after the new site launched, Frontline were getting the same volume of enquiries they used to pay ads for. Now they pay nothing for them.
Dark and rugged, built for the trade. Loads fast on a phone and gets straight to the offer.

The website was step one. We're now building Frontline a business operations dashboard to run the whole shop from one screen.
One place for quotes, jobs, leads and reporting, wired into the site and the tools the team already uses. Less double-entry, a live view of the pipeline, and the numbers that matter without digging for them.
More soon. We'll post results here as it ships.
“Not getting your website AI ready is going to be the same as forgetting to renew your Yellow Pages spot back in the 80s.”
Lee from Automatrix rebuilt our website from the ground up. The face of it looks much the same as the old one, but behind the scenes it's a completely different site, customised to make it easier for AI engines to read the info, with some great SEO changes. One month after launching the new site and we can already see a big improvement in our website traffic and enquiry through search, with the added bonus that the site is ready for AI when that becomes the main way people search.
If you're worried about how your business shows up on Google, or you've seen a decline in customers coming from online channels, speaking with Lee from Automatrix is a must.
If you're paying for ads to keep the phone ringing, there's a better way. Tell us about your business and we'll map where it's leaking time and money.
The honesty guarantee: if we can't find at least $10,000 in recoverable time or revenue, we'll tell you upfront. No pitch, no pressure.
