How to Invite Automatrix to Your GoDaddy Account

To manage your domains, DNS or products, we need our own limited access to your GoDaddy account. GoDaddy calls this Delegate Access. It takes about three minutes, you never share your password, and you can remove us anytime. Here's exactly how.

Quick answer

Sign in to GoDaddy → go to account.godaddy.com/access → under People who can access my account click Invite to Access → enter Automatrix and info@automatrix.au → choose the Products & Domains level → click Invite. We accept the email and you're done.

A lot of your online presence lives inside GoDaddy, your domain name, DNS records, hosting and other products. Instead of emailing passwords around (never do that), GoDaddy has a built-in, secure way to let us help: Delegate Access. You invite us, we get our own limited login, and you stay in full control. Here it is with a picture at every step.

BEFORE YOU STARTWhat you'll need

You never share your password

Delegate Access gives us our own GoDaddy login tied to info@automatrix.au. Your password and, at the right level, your payment details stay private.

IMPORTANTWhich access level to pick

GoDaddy asks you to choose how much access to grant. For our work, pick Products & Domains:

Access levelWhat it allowsUse for Automatrix?
Products & DomainsManage your domains, DNS and products. Can't see payment info or buy.✅ Recommended
PaymentsAdds the ability to purchase using your saved payment methods.Only if you want us buying on your behalf

Good to know

Whatever level you choose, GoDaddy blocks delegates from seeing your password and from accepting incoming domain transfers. You can change the level or revoke it whenever you like.

STEP 1Open your Delegate Access page

Sign in to GoDaddy, then go straight to account.godaddy.com/access. (You can also get there by clicking your account name, top right → Account Settings → Delegate Access.)

STEP 5We accept the invitation

GoDaddy sends the invite to info@automatrix.au. We click the link and accept, and your account lists us as a delegate. If we don't already have a GoDaddy account, it prompts us to create one, no action needed from you.

Heads up

The invite goes to info@automatrix.au — double-check the spelling (it's .au, not .com.au). We usually accept the same day.

PEACE OF MINDIs this safe?

Yes, this is GoDaddy's own recommended way to let a provider help you, and it's far safer than handing over a password:

ANYTIMERemoving our access later

Open Delegate Access
Go back to account.godaddy.com/access.
Find Automatrix
Locate info@automatrix.au under "People who can access my account".
Edit or remove
Change the access level, or choose Delete/Remove. Access ends immediately.

FAQCommon questions

Do I have to give you my password?

No, and please don't. Delegate Access gives us our own login tied to info@automatrix.au. Your password stays known only to you.

Will you see my credit card or billing info?

Not at the Products & Domains level, delegates can't view payment methods or purchase. Only the Payments level adds that, and only if you choose it.

Do you need a GoDaddy account to accept?

Yes. We have one, but if a delegate doesn't, GoDaddy simply prompts them to create one when they click the invite.

Can I limit which domains you touch?

Yes, GoDaddy lets you use domain folders to restrict a delegate to specific domains. Ask us and we'll tell you which domains we actually need.

I'm on a different provider (VentraIP / Crazy Domains).

No problem, we have step-by-step guides for those too. Just reach out and we'll send the right one.
